Yes, where the degree and duties support the Agriculturist (including Agronomist) entry. That entry requires a baccalaureate or Licenciatura degree and does not list a licence alternative; the job must be agricultural science rather than sales or general management.
The credential answers the entry; the duties answer whether that entry applies
Hypothetical example: Appendix 2 does not list every job title in agriculture. It lists professions, and the agricultural sciences are reached through the scientist grouping, whose qualification is a baccalaureate degree or the applicable licence. A four-year bachelor of science in agriculture from a Canadian university meets that plainly, and no separate evaluation is needed for a Canadian degree.
The harder half is the job. A position that designs and interprets replicated plot trials, builds fertility programmes from soil data and advises the company's dealer network on crop-protection decisions is agricultural science. A position whose real content is quoting seed prices and closing orders is not, whatever the business card says.
Ask the seed company for a duty breakdown by proportion of time. If the honest breakdown is heavily commercial, the profession analysis has to be run again, and a different classification may be needed.
