The health care worker certificate follows the authorized credentialing organization’s current process and document requirements.
These steps may run in parallel, but their current timelines must be verified rather than described categorically as several months. The immigration step at the end may be faster by comparison. Tell the hospital the supportable date early, and do not resign from the long-term-care position until the required licence and certificate are actually issued.
A resignation tendered against an expected approval is the risk worth avoiding.
